The 1879 Emlen Physick Estate, Cape May’s only Victorian House Museum, is attributed to Philadelphia architect Frank Furness and is one of the finest examples of “Stick Style” architecture in America. Home of the Greater Cape May Historical Society, this house was built in 1775. Originally a tavern and the family home of Revolutionary War patriot Memucan Hughes, the front room features a historic exhibit that changes every year.
